He expressed the hope that the two sides should take this visit as an opportunity for in-depth and extensive cooperation in joint training of students, scientific research, transformation of research results and exchange programs between teachers and students, so as to achieve graeat results in the future.

Professor Ouyang Jianyong introduced the basic information of the National University of Singapore and its Suzhou Research Institute and introduced the detailed plan of the "3+1+1" cooperative school-running program. The National University of Singapore is a leading world-class university in Singapore, and the Suzhou Research Institute is the only overseas research institution of the National University of Singapore in the world, which is a great chance of the cooperation between China and Singapore in the field of science and education. Relying on the Suzhou Research Institute, the National University of Singapore has cooperated with many well-known universities in China, and many outstanding undergraduates that have been admitted who will attend for the bridging courses and graduation project at the Suzhou Research Institute in the first "+1" year, and will study for a master's degree at the National University of Singapore in the second "+1" year, which has obtained many achievements.
